School segregation and luxury development are the two huge issues at the center of the District 6 race on the Upper West Side. Sitting City Councilwoman Helen Rosenthal is facing a tough reelection following a contentious fight to redraw school zones and a flood of high-conclude skyscrapers.
Jarrett Murphy,executive editor of City Limits, spoke to WNYC's Kerry Nolan about Rosenthal's top opponent and the shrinking number of women in City Council.
