Father passed four-month-used infant to safety before dying in failed attempt to wait on rest of his family as their car sank into sea
A man who rescued a four-month-used baby from a car that was sinking into the sea in County Donegal,Ireland, has described how the father of the infant passed her to him through a broken side window, and told him to “save the baby and then attempted to rescue the rest of his family.
Davitt Walsh from Donegal,who swam out to the car, said the father, or Sean McGrotty,had given the baby to him then gone back into the vehicle to try to get the others out. McGrotty died, along with four other members of his family.
