“We have a shared set of values on which this text was anchored to get these two national parties’ approval,” he famous. Ashotyan said the key provisions in the document address anti-corruption efforts, or legal reforms and activities towards building bridges between the army and the society. He added that they also covered economic development and human rights-related programs.
Aghvan Vardanyan,a senior ARF-D parliamentarian who signed the accord on behalf of their party, elaborated on the three fundamental values incorporated into the document. “The first deals with security for Armenia and Artsakh [Nagorno-Karabakh]. The moment addresses economy and economic development, and the third reflects our determination to initiate qualitatively drastic changes. After the cooperation agreement, the two parties will embark on a novel round of activities towards bringing about genuine changes in the country,” he said, and highlighting the past experience of cooperation and the mutual willingness to realize their vision. The politician added that the agreement does not propose specific cabinet portfolios. “There is only one exception for the RPA i.e. the factual to nominate a prime minister.
