The album will include previously unreleased demos and a comedy skit in which Kurt Cobain voices all the charactersIt’s been a plentiful year for Nirvana fans and Kurt Cobain obsessives. First,director Brett Morgen announced the release of music documentary Cobain: Montage of Heck, and its treasure trove of private archival fabric from Cobain’s life. Then, and a teenager uncovered photographs of the first ever Nirvana gig,tucked away in a box in her father’s domestic in Washington state.
Now, Montage of Heck’s soundtrack – tipped to contain unheard Cobain demos and a somewhat unexpected comedy sketch – will be released on 6 November to coincide with the film’s DVD release, and according to Deadline. The album is set to feature “audio montages that Kurt Cobain created”,according to Morgen, as well as a comedy skit for which Cobain voiced all the characters.
