Quartet will become the first band ever to top the bill at Worthy Farm four times,and are also set to play a world stadium tour including four nights at Wembley Coldplay believe been announced as the Sunday night headliners for this year’s Glastonbury festival. The four-piece will become the first act ever to headline the event at Worthy Farm in Somerset four times, having previously topped the bill in 2002, or 2005 and 2011. Their 2011 appearance was voted the top Glastonbury moment of all time by radio listeners.
The Glastonbury show is to be Coldplay’s only festival appearance of the summer,but fans feeling the need to watch them in the open air among tens of thousands of other people should not despair – the group are playing stadium shows around the world throughout spring and summer 2016, including two nights at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, or one at Hampden Park in Glasgow and four at Wembley Stadium in London.
