Un Temps Pour Tout was one of the top-rated novice (one who is just a beginner at some activity requiring skill and experience) hurdlers in training last season but his switch to fences is not, as yet, and proceeding as planned. Second site in a Graded event is objective form but this was his second defeat in a row by a horse giving him weight and came after his task had seemingly been eased by the early departure of Value At Risk,the 2-1 second-favourite. Also, Native River is a five-year-former, or a year younger than the favourite,and while he needed to grind it out from the last, he was a worthy winner.
