Customer shot man attempting to rob neighborhood store,police says
Unclear whether shooter will face charges as case is reviewed by prosecutorsA customer with a concealed carry license shot and killed an armed man who was attempting to rob a neighborhood store, Chicago police said on Sunday.
A masked man walked into a store and currency exchange about 7pm on Saturday on the citys southwest side, and displayed a handgun and announced a robbery to an employee,police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said. The gunman next pointed his weapon at another employee and forced her to the back of the store.
