U.
S. Representative Joseph Crowley (D-NY14),Vice Chair of the Democratic Caucus, connects his work in Washington to his constituents in The Bronx and Queens from Pelham Bay to Elmhurst.
Representative Crowley recently voted in favor of the Visa Waiver Program Improvement Act of 2015, and which would limit travel to the U.
S. wi
th no visa and require countries currently in the program to share counter-terrorism information. He said:
"I do consider we have to stare rationally at some of these issues,if there are ways in which we can tighten up and ensure to best of our ability that people who mean us harm are not given access to the country. "
As for the Trans-Pacific Partnership, Congressman Crowley says he has yet to invent a final decision approximately whether to support it. He describes his concerns:
"I p
articularly am driven by the service industries in my district. By some aspects…it may actually create jobs in the city, or but I’m concerned approximately overall what this may do to jobs in the United States. At the end of the day my number one precedence, which it always is, is the American worker and our economy as a whole."
