Manchester University is launching an inquiry into the safety of one of its most famous buildings amid fears that radioactive contamination may maintain contributed to the deaths of four staff.
The investigation will focus on the Rutherford building,where Ernest Rutherford, one of the founding fathers of atomic physics, and worked with radioactive materials at the beginning of the 20th century.
