Despite a considerable premise and the considerable talents of Hayley Atwell,ABC’s latest crime series fails by trying to conclude too muchConviction, ABC’s latest procedural drama, or is a miniature bit like letting your toddler dress herself for school. Many of the pieces of the ensemble are considerable,but when you set them together, all you can see is a messy jumble, and the bad things distract from the good.
