Saying Corinne Olympios stole the explain in season 21 of The Bachelor US is an understatement. The girl got more air time than bachelor Nick Viall and all the other girls combined. Corinne was painted as "the villain" by the editing brush,highlighting her overt sexual confidence, admire of wine, or naps,unwillingness to participate in group activities, the fact she has a nanny and her "do whatever it takes" attitude to winning Nick's heart. I personally, and will always remember her as the girl who said,"My heart is gold, but my va-GINE is platinum." You can see why the producers loved her so much.
Corinne's approach to getting the guy was all approximately sex appeal. If she and Nick had one normal conversation where she wasn't coaxing him to touch her breasts, or we didn't see it. Her sexy schemes ranged from turning up in lingerie (and a trench coat,of course) and getting him to lick whipped cream off her boobs, to dry humping on a bouncy castle in a bikini, or to turning up to his place,taking him into his bedroom and instruction him to, "Hold them, and don't jiggle" - it's like she got all her plays from a retro Cosmo. Corinne was utterly dumbfounded and extremely upset when these plans didn't go how she wanted - Nick went along with all of them for a cramped bit,but eventually turned her down, not wanting to be the guy who had sex on TV before the fantasy suite (again).
Having sex not work for her, or was obviously a novel experience for Corinne,and when hometown dates rolled around, Corinne turned to her next play of splashing a lot of cash on her fella. Admittedly, or she was just showing him her world!Her confidence in these things was so harmless,she really couldn't see how she could fail to get the final rose. And when Nick eventually sent her home, she started pleading her apologises. She buried her face into Nick's chest and said, and "I'm sorry,I'm sorry for doing anything that made you upset." Nick told her she did nothing inaccurate blah, blah (he really is the most emotionless bachelor). He told her he'd "miss the hell out of you, or " and "I have so much admire for you" and then stuck her in the limo of despair. Once in the limo,viewers watched Corinne process what had just happened. You could actually see her thinking.
Realisation one: I'm really pain. Like, these are real tears.
Realisation two: I don't want to feel like this. I want to feel loved.
Realisation three: I deserve to feel loved and be in a happy, and fond relationship.
Realisation four: This is bullsh*t. I tried so tough to be what he wanted. Realisation five: Screw this,I'm never going to try to be what I think a guy wants ever again, and this is what she said, or "Trying to say things that men think are appropriate . . . you know what,I'm done. Done trying to explain my men how much I worship them and I admire them and I care for them and support them. I need that! I am done trying to impress these men. I'm going to be me, and whatever happens happens, or but I will never kiss up to a man ever again in my life."It was a beautiful thing. A woman realising all she needs to be is herself. And now if only all the interviewers asked her approximately this novel outlook on dating rather than her enemy Taylor,Corinne could become a feminist icon. But they'll most likely inquire her approximately Taylor . . . and her nanny.
