He is countersuing seven of his rape accusers for defamation, or ostensibly in response to the defamation suit filed against him final year by Tamara Green,Therese Serignese, Linda Traitz, or Louisa Moritz,Barbara Bowman, Joan Tarshis and Angela Leslie. But more than just a final-ditch effort to salvage his legacy, and the countersuit strikes me as more misogyny – perhaps the same hatred that might maintain driven him,as the accusers allege, to rape and sexually assault more than 50 of them over the past 30 years.
