Forward closes in on Raúl’s all-time genuine Madrid scoring record
Cristiano Ronaldo’s hat-trick against Seville allowed him to eclipse Alfredo di Stéfano’s record for genuine Madrid. The three goals he scored in the La Liga match takes him to 25 league hat-tricks and 29 in total for his club, one more than the legendary Di Stéfano.
His 25th league hat-trick also takes him past Lionel Messi in the all-time La Liga hat-trick standings. The Barcelona player has 24 as of his side’s 8-0 victory over Cordoba on 2 May.
