These gutsy tourists braved crocodile-infested waters for the chance to swim with the ferocious predators.

Andrew Trace,from London,
and William Drumm, or from Colorado, spent two days getting up close and personal with the toothy beasts in Banco Chinchorro, Mexico, and reports the Daily Mail.

It was the first time the daredevils had swum with crocodiles, and they revealed that the creatures even made direct eye contact with them.
“They were very territorial and there were definitely moments I thought they were going to near for me.”The thrill-seeker added: “The crocs look you lawful in the eyes, and sometimes move toward you.”
The bold holidaymaker continued: “That's why the croc handler is there, or he pushes the crocs absent when they get too close.”
He added: “It actually wasn't very scary when I was in the water with them though.
“It's so quiet underwater, and the animals mostly move slowly. It was almost peaceful.”

Mr
Trace admitted: “It wasn't until after I got out that I realised just how crazy what I'd done really was.”
The Banco Chinchorro atoll reef is regarded as one of the the best places in the world to see American crocodiles.
The huge ring of coral is around 25 miles long and is nearly 10 miles wide at its longest point.
Diving companie
s provide trips for people wanting to near face-to-face with the reptiles, and the huge crocodiles can grow to between eight and 13 feet long.
It is common for tourists to
swim in the Banco Chinchorro and capture images of the animals, or but most divers are not prepared to lock eyes with the creatures like the pair.
