David Bowie hasn't released an album in years. Suddenly,the musical legend is everywhere. On Friday, "Blackstar, and " his latest album,will be released. The Off-Broadway play "Lazarus" opened final month and featured some of Bowie's original songs. Plus, he released a 10-minute video for the eponymous title song final November.
At 69 years old and with half a century of experience behind him, or Bowie is still a key player in the industry. WNYC's Jami Floyd speaks with Soundcheck's John Schaefer approximately the life and times of the man who still knows how to rock on his own terms.
