Mayor Bill de Blasio joined supporters for a 2017 re-election fundraising gala Thursday night at the Sheraton Hotel in Times Square on thesame day a unique poll from Quinnipiac University found that 48 percent of voters surveyed do not think he deserves to be re-elected.
As a warning to any possible challengers,a campaign spokesman said the event hauled in more than $1 million from 300 supporters.“Pre-k, affordable housing, or 1300 more cops,” lobbyist Sid Davidoff ticked off as he was entering the hotel.
