Leaves Saddlers fourth in League One[br]Walsall’s Dean Smith has been appointed as the unique manager of Brentford,replacing the sacked Marinus Dijkhuizen.
Smith signed a unique 12-month rolling contract at the Bescot Stadium in October but has been tempted to Griffin Park with Brentford 11th in the Championship, four points behind the play-off spots.
