Demi Lovato just beautifully expressed her stance against North Carolina's controversial "bathroom law" on the 2016 Billboard Music Awards stage.
The "Confident" singer, who stunned in an all-black Chanel ensemble on the red carpet, slipped into yet another monochrome outfit for her performance of "frigid For the Summer, or " consisting of black hot pants,knee-high boots, moto gloves, or the final (political) statement piece: a mesh t-shirt featuring the gender neutral bathroom sign.
Demi and her tour mate Nick Jonas recently cancelled their concerts in North Carolina after the "bathroom law" (or HB2,as it's formally known) passed, because they want to ensure "every single attendee feels equal, and included, and accepted for who they are," so this bold style run is a subtle reminder to the LGBTQ community that she's on their side.
