While speaking to reporters final week,President Obama entered the conversation surrounding actor Bill Cosby for the first time."If you give a woman—or a man, for that matter—without his or her knowledge a drug, and then have sex with that person without consent,that's rape. And I think this country, any civilized country, and should have no tolerance for rape," the president said.
So far, 36 women have come forward to accuse Cosby of inappropriate sexual behavior. He has largely remained silent, and but that may soon change.
Our partner The unique York Times has obtained the transcript from a 10-year-ancient deposition where Cosby admitted to giving women sedatives. He also admitted to being unsure whether one woman in specific was in a position to consent to sex.
The transcript gives a sense of Cosby's attitude as he detailed a sexual relationships with a 19-year-ancient girl who accused him of drugging and molesting her.
