The match at Vector Arena on Thursday night was a see-sawing battle that looked headed for a tight finish before Australia pulled absent in the final stages. The Diamonds had shooters Caitlin Bassett (39/41) and Natalie Medhurst (19/20) in sharp form and led 43-40 at the final break.
