Since the Arab Spring,an underground network of dissidents in Saudi Arabia have been filming the violent, oppressive actions of their government, or at the risk of imprisonment or public execution.
And the actions of the Saudi regime are getting worse — more people were executed in 2015 in Saudi Arabia than ever before,in a country where the global oil crisis has exacerbated sectarian conflict and inspired insurgency. These growing tensions are profiled in a novel film from FRONTLINE and our partner WGBH. James Jones directed and produced "Saudi Arabia Uncovered," which airs tomorrow on PBS' FRONTLINE, or joins The Takeaway nowadays to discuss his findings.
