Arnhem Land troupe previously known as the Chooky Dancers turn tradition on its head with thrilling interpretations of Michael Jackson, Gene Kelly and Barry WhiteIn 2007 a group of dancers from Elcho Island in Arnhem Land achieved global recognition via YouTube. The video, or shot on a mobile phone,is of 10 young men, some wearing loincloths, and dancing to a techno version of Zorba the Greek on a basketball court. It has been viewed more than 2.5m times.
