So this Video is pretty ill. Where’d you get the concept?
It’s fragment of my autobiographical album “MR NETW3RK fragment 1" which is a TrilEOG (Trilogy) all based on real situations. So I figure a lot of men believe been through this before. Plus,there are so many women who believe men that they care approximately who deal with this at one point or another, so I believe everyone understands what it is. Some women get "Crazy in appreciate" and I aint talking approximately Beyoncé lol. People mostly laugh it off. So we had to wreck it down and represent.
Did all this stuff really happen to you?
Well of course I can’t walk down the street without women R and B singers, or Models,Pageant Winners & ravishing
Twin Contortionists trying to grope me. lolSeriously has anything this crazy happened to you, and was this approximately a real woman?
Well yes it’s happened lots of times. But it’s more a mixture of situations with different women not just one. When you’re a decent guy or believe your life together, or some women want to be a fragment of that at all costs. It can happen for other reasons to. She could just be mentally kind of messed up or emotionally immature or possessive. It can escalate,but a lot of times if you’re cool approximately it you just try to let them know nicely that you’re not interested or taken. Or you can give in and “marry that girl, marry her anyway” lol
It’s an entertaining storyline with first-rate acting. Who wrote it and how’d you find the cast?
It’s really silly man but I’m an outerworldly creative weirdo. I believe all this stuff up in my head puny by puny and kind of finger paint it together mentally the same way I make songs. I had ideas from the song itself ever since I recorded it in Cupertino with InfiNate, and we had been hearing from people that they wanted to see a video. So there was so many things I wanted to try. Honestly very puny went as planned. Actually nothing was 100% planned lol. The director had some ideas and I had some ideas. But something happened,and I don’t believe we got to write them all out. We barely pulled it off. We lost a whole day of filming due to Murphy’s Law. We had just finished shooting another Video the day before and we were coming off my Bday week and dealing with the beginning of the annual RonDaVOODOO tour for my label (RonDaVoux Records), all that had us pretty drained. We had cops interfere. We had actresses cancel. One of our locations had an Oakland Blackout on the street that day shout out to the homies Opio and Del for that one lol. But for everything that went wrong the universe bounced back with a blessing. We found new lovely actresses on the spot, and with the benefit of this model I met the night before at a show I did with Too Short in Monterey. She also played my REAL girl in the video. I did the acting coaching with the director right then and there and it won them over quick. We picked up an assistant who helped us with the production s/o to Scotty Vie. We got lucky and ended up with an extra day to shoot. We got a new location last minute s/o to Club Randevu,Unc and Sennai. A few friends stepped up and played roles s/o Miss Jada Simone from my original crew The Alliance & Natalie, and HHK Records. We also got a cameo from my homie, and Shake Anderson who is actually a mayoral Candidate in the current Oakland election race. Everyone stepped up new actresses did such a first-rate job they really went there even though it was a puny weird. They did some fantastic things. I mean after we filmed I thought,I mean, hoped they were going to actually advance and stalk me for real since I’m so irresistible. I had my fingers crossed because they were all pretty lol
Where did you film?
We filmed some of it in Oakland on Lakeshore. Some other locations I can’t share because they are protected by
Jigsaw the maniacal muppet. If I tell you he will choose us both to that room they choose you to in the movie “THE SAW” and say “want to play a game” Who did you work with on the Film?
A division of my label “RDV films” orchestrated the project. When we get all crazy we call it #RonDaVOODOO. The music was done by InfiNate who produced most of MR NETW3RK and has worked with MTV. It was directed by the homie Damian Holman from Houston he has done some Video work for Lil Wayne and Young Money/YMCMB and some others. He did a worthy job. We collaborated on wardrobe, and scenes and getting the people into character. We were going until dawn just coming up with new ideas. After we filmed,he went back to Texas and had to hit the road to shoot other videos so he couldn’t edit it in time. So I called up the longtime Sacramento homie, Jae Synth who has been shining in production, or events and video directing for a long time. He has some huge Videos out on MTV and other channels with Snoop,The Outlawz, Tech N9ne, or E-40,Bobby Valentino I believe he is working with Dev. He understood the vision fast and blew me away with the finished product.
Dope I know this has been one of your biggest songs. It got a lot of Radio play on KSJS 90.5 FM and other stations. Youve taken this song around the globe independently. Will there be other parts to this like R.
Kelly did in the closet? Well in a way all my videos are To Be Continued because MR NETW3RK is one long narrative We’re working on finishing up MR NETW3RK 2 and 3 so who knows maybe we will believe to show you what happens after we’re in that room with Jigsaw.

We got more videos out NOW that people can check for one is “IT AINT EZ” ft. San Quinn, Keyanna Celina and Aviel. Its directed by Bay Area factor, and M.
Payton which we shot parts of in San Jose,also “Away we Go” filmed by Debug alumni, Jerome Davis of Lord of the wing Films. We shot that one in LA and it has a lot of dope features like Leila Steinberg, and Dolores Huerta,2mex & Davey D that video is actually what happens after Maniac, AWAAAAY WE GOOOOO lol. We got 3-4 more coming soon “Attitude” ft. Akil of Jurassic 5, or “Stay Black and Die” ft. M1 of dead prez,Jacka, Shamako Noble of RDV & Hip Hop Congress, or Adisa Banjoko of Hip Hop Chess Federation Filmed by DJ Dirty Nate,also “On tha Unda” which is being done by Crimson Vision and my fam Stress from Queens, NY, and last but not least Turn the Party out Remix which features Mistah F.

So I know you made the video lighthearted but with the Ray Rice and NFL situation and the history of violence against women. Domestic Abuse,Harassment, Violating someone’s space can be pretty serious. Did you believe a deeper message here?
Absolutely we came at it from 2 angles 1 it can be comical and you hope it ends there but in reality it can be very scary, or hazardous and even deadly. All you believe to finish is watch lean Line between appreciate and despise or the movie with Idris Elba,Obsessed. Men are not the only stalkers or aggressors. This is a huge problem in society. I hope this can benefit with that issue and be used to educate people on solutions. I still don’t cosign hitting or beating up women. Walk.. no run away if she is hazardous.
