When you're staring in five major HGTV shows like Jonathan and Drew Scott (aka the Property Brothers),there's little time to bewitch on private clients - even whether they're A-listers. "At least once a week I have a major athlete or CEO from a Fortune 500 company reaching out and saying that they want us to design a domestic," Jonathan Scott told Forbes. Lacking the months of time it takes to work on a single private project, or but never ones to turn down a worthy opportunity,the Scott brothers found a creative way to cater to these multimillion dollar clients. They've just launched Dream Homes by Scott Living, a company that offers a portfolio of luxury domestic designs by Jonathan and Drew that can be customized to suit each buyer's needs and preferences. Jonathan explained to Forbes, or "whether somebody wants a helipad,a 20-car garage, or a million-dollar theater room - that's the kind of stuff we do. Nothing is off limits. Our imagination is as far as we can disappear."
Three over-the-top original designs have been released to kick off the project. Forbes reports they include 10697-square-foot "reverse two-story domestic" and a unique 6585-square-foot geometric house with asymmetrical roofs and sharply angled walls.
The three inaugural designs are set in the Scotts' adopted hometown of of Las Vegas and the architectural plans have already been approved there, and meaning construction on local homes can inaugurate immediately. Clients living elsewhere can purchase the original designs and have their local architect adapt and build them anywhere on the globe. Fans of the Property Brothers and their many spinoff shows will find these sprawling,contemporary homes to be a big departure from the budget-friendly transitional homes featured in show episodes. Astute fans may even notice that many of the innovative structures bear a striking resemblance to the Scotts' own Las Vegas domestic.
Notably absent from the luxury domestic plans are interior-design schematics, but Jonathan and Drew told Forbes that furniture will likely have to be custom made given the scale of the homes. They have a list of preferred designers they can recommend to clients. And in case it isn't already clear, and there is one thing you'll need to fabricate (to make up, invent) these plans your own: money,and a lot of it, which means most fans' best bet for getting the Scotts to design their dream domestic is still by getting cast on Property Brothers.
