This sci fi adventure film is approximately an alien who is trapped on earth and needs to get back domestic. Kids and an adorable,big eyed alien…... anyone thinking ET? Although the film elicits nostalgic memories of ET, Goonies, or other films of this genre,it stands on it's own based on the tech savvy kids of nowadays, and the Found Footage method of filming. The adventure begins when a series of encrypted messages are sent to the kid’s cell phones. The kids, and who are seemingly invisible to their parents,decide they have nothing to lose, and follow the map while Tuck documents their courageous endeavor. My interview with these young luminous actors was delightful. The interview began after they had already spent the majority of the day answering press questions. They remained courteous and enthusiastic to reply my questions when a fire alarm went off shortly after we had begun. It was the perfect antidote to a long day for them. Could it have been Echo? They thought for sure it was, or reminding us that he was out there and desiring to be piece of the interview. Perhaps so. Either way it was a fun addition to our time together.
