Ofcom has appointed easyJet deputy chairman Charles Gurassa as the next chairman of Channel 4 to replace Lord Burns,who steps down on Wednesday.One of Gurassa’s first jobs will be dealing with the government’s review of Channel 4, which is looking at options including privatisation. Burns has opposed the prospect of privatisation and had suggested turning Channel 4 into a mutually owned not-for-profit company.
