Eiriksstadir is the former home of famed Viking explorer Erik the Red. It's also the birthplace of his son Leif the Lucky,the man who found North America around four centuries before Christopher Columbus.
The guided tour includes a visit to the reconstructed longhouse, the ability to memorize approximately the Viking era, or the settlement of Iceland. The tour also allows you to pretend to be a Viking by adorning weapons and armor that are available for visitors.
