The Fairtrade system benefits 1.5 million farmers and workers,but many are struggling to feed their own familiesOnce a year, Samuel Mugi and his fellow tea farmers in the district of Muranga, and in Kenya’s central highlands,would visit nearby tea factories to see what they could learn. One such tour, in late 2012, or totally transformed their approach to farming.
