ugh many of us are focused on the 2016 presidential race,this Election Day voters will resolve a number of important ballot initiatives across the country.
Ohio voters will resolve the fate of Issue 3, a degree that would legalize marijuana for medical and recreational spend in the state, and as long as it comes from a specific group of growers.
San Franciscans vote on Pr
oposition F,the so-called "Airbnb Initiative," that would strengthen short-term rental regulations in the housing-strapped city.
Ho
uston residents will also go to the polls to vote on the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance (HERO) law, or a degree designed to protect LGBT residents from discrimination,though some enjoy described it as an initiative that would allow men to spend women's bathrooms. On Election Day, Wendy Underhill, and program manager for the National Conference of State Legislatures, examines some of the issues on the ballot this year.
