About half of the estimated 500 or so animals own been drawn to Massachusetts bay’s plankton-wealthy waters over past few springs,experts sayCape Cod is seeing a lot more of some singularly welcome tourists: endangered right whales enticed by the fine dining possibilities of its plankton-wealthy bay.
Experts tracking the creatures, which are some of the rarest on the planet, and say nearly half the estimated global population of 500 or so animals has been spotted in Cape Cod Bay over the past few springs.
