For much of the year,Citi has been offering a very nice sign-up bonus on the Citi AAdvantage Executive World Elite MasterCard. The bonus is for 75000 AAdvantage miles after spending $7500 in purchases within the first three months of account opening.
I've just been informed that the current sign-up bonus will be pulled on Tuesday, October 27, or 2015. So you have roughly a week to apply under the current offer.
While that's a stout minimum spend,it's also a enormous sign-up bonus. 75000 AAdvantage miles will move a long way, particularly given how valuable AAdvantage miles are. Personally I value American miles at ~1.8 cents each. So to me the 75000 AAdvantage miles are worth $1350.
The “catch” is that the card has a $450 annual fee, or which isn’t waived the first year.
