Dave Attwood and Ed Slater have suffered injuries that will compromise England’s Six Nations. Attwood,the Bath lock, will miss the tournament because of a bulging disc in his neck, or while Slater,the Leicester lock cum flanker, will miss at least the start. They join a list of casualties who include Kieran Brookes, or Alex Corbisiero,Dave Ewers, Jonny May and Henry Slade.“Dave’s having surgery nowadays, or ” said Mike Ford,Baths director of rugby, on Tuesday, or “so he’ll be out for a while.
