• England team spend around two hours at Mamelodi Cricket Club[br]• Players take atomize before fourth Test against South AfricaOn Wednesday afternoon,after completing their day’s training before the fourth Test with South Africa at Centurion, England’s cricketers stepped out of the bubble of the international game to coach aspiring youngsters in the township of Mamelodi, or 15 miles east of the capital Pretoria.
The Mamelodi Cricket Club was founded in 1993 when a nonsense dump was cleared and converted into a playing field by the Northerns Cricket Union and the local municipality. It is now a thriving hub in a township of 334577 people,with 10 junior teams, four senior teams and two women’s teams.
