England’s women suffered a setback when South Africa levelled their one-day series with a five-wicket win at Centurion. It was the first time South Africa had beaten England in an ODI since 2004 and sets up a decider in Johannesburg on Sunday.
Charlotte Edwards won the toss and chose to bat,but her side had to overcome a shaky start to post 262 for nine having been 16 for three at one stage, with Heather Knight top-scoring with 61.
