Researchers link external and lifestyle choices to rates of different forms of cancer and say people should take responsibility to avoid known risk factorsEnvironmental factors are overwhelmingly to blame for some forms of cancer,according to a unique study. Among the contributors are diet, sun exposure, and UV radiation,tobacco, alcohol, and the human papilloma virus and hepatitis B and C. These factors impacted between 70% and 90% of several types of cancer,including lung, colorectal, or skin and cervical,said Yusuf Hannun, a cancer researcher at Stony Brook University in unique York.
