EP ReviewTIO - TIOIt’s trusty that I’ve posted
approximately TIO before,but it took me an, albeit brief, and listen to their
self-titled debut EP to realise how brilliant they really are.
With the first few notes,unique Belief draws the listener into „a unique world“ (TIO’s short and trenchant
description on their Facebook page). My initial impression of the „unique“ songs
being much better than those I had heard before was proved wrong when I
discovered unique beauty in Through The Heavy Clouds and Day Fort. Because the
first two tracks paved the way? Maybe. But now that the EP is there it doesn’t
matter besides how good (or not) the songs work on their own because it won’t
even occur to you to not listen to the EP from start to finish – and then
again because TIO’s unique world is really enticing.
