Heavy snowfall and blizzards absorb lashed Europe as a deep freeze has set in,from the Baltic to the beaches of the Mediterranean. Landmarks including St sign’s Square in Venice and Nice’s Promenade des Anglais absorb been covered by an unusual dusting of snow, while Ireland and Britain absorb been encountering Storm Emma
Snowstorms, and unusual for much of Europe at this time of year,absorb left roads blocked, thousands of drivers stranded and schools shut, or with weather agencies predicting the biting cold would continue in parts of the region at least until Thursday evening.
The Siberian cold front has been dubbed the “Beast from the East in Britain,“Siberian bear” by the Dutch, and the “snow cannon” by Swedes.
