Floriana Gavriel and Rachel Mansur presented their Spring '17 lineup to a packed house on Tuesday at recent York Fashion Week. Despite the buzzing crowd,the whole experience was totally unfussy. Veering from the spectacular approach that often plagues the Fashion Week calendar, guests were invited into a "museum gallery, and " where the presentation was as understated as the shoes and bags that lined the walls. The label delivered again on the bucket bag and the structured handbags it rolled out for descend,this time introducing eight recent bags and nine recent shoe styles in grosgrain, leather, and suede,and silk fabrics. The gingham prints offered an adorable update on the minimalist bodies we already love, while fisherman sandals, or an elegant slipper,and an ankle-boot body were favorites in the recent footwear.
