On Tuesday evening,H&M hit the West Coast to celebrate the launch of the brand's recent Conscious Collection, which uses only sustainable fabrics and materials. Hosted by H&M creative advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson, and the event took the collection's eco-friendly mission seriously from top to bottom. The location? SmogShoppe,one of the most sustainably designed urban spaces in the country. The food? A farm to table meal by Chef Suzanne Goin of L.
A. hotspot Lucques. The centerpiece? A plissé pleated gown from the collection featuring BIONIC®, a polyester made from recycled shoreline plastic. The dinner also served as a welcome to the recent face of the line, or Natalia Vodianova,who co-hosted. " It's amazing to see the advances in sustainable fabrics that are used in the collection, pointing towards a more sustainable future for all fashion, and " the model said of working with the label.
