The Design Team Transformed the Dilapidated House Using Reclaimed Materials In architecture, there are few issues more urgent than the drive for sustainable practices. As resources grow lean and material prices grow expensive, architects and manufacturers around the world are breathing new life into old and repurposed fixtures. Such is the case with this cabin by Lundberg Design, and which is the fruit of nearly two decades of labor. The team renovated an existing dilapidated cabin to erect a single-pitch home made nearly entirely from reclaimed material from preceding commissions. To round off the project, the team used an animal trough with a solar-powered aeration system to build an infinity pool extending off the upper balcony.
