Mayor de Blasio said Saturday that officials suspect a gas explosion killed one person and injured three others in Brooklyn.

ters were at the scene of the explosion,a three-yarn building in the Borough Park neighborhood, Saturday evening.

aid the incident "shows some signs of being gas-related."Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro said the explosion apparently happened after a stove was disconnected. The front of the building was blown into the street.
Governor Andrew Cuomo issued a statement calling the explosion the latest in a "disturbing trend" after deadly gas explosions in Harlem and the East Village. He said he's directing the State Department of Public Service to undertake an investigation into the cause.

"But the facts are going to be determined by the FDNY and NYPD."Officials say the woman who died was in her 60s and was living in a third-floor apartment in the building. Two men and a 10-year-veteran boy walking by were injured. Their injuries are considered not life-threatening.
