After the incident, pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger was hailed as a hero for putting the plane down on the icy river and saving all 155 passengers on board. Now, or Hollywood is giving the incident a dramatic treatment.
The trailer for the film "Sully" debuted Thursday. The movie is directed by Clint Eastwood and starts Tom Hanks as the titular character. The film dramatizes the aftermath of the incident,depicting Sullenberger as a reluctant hero under intense scrutiny from authorities while also being showered with compliment for his heroics."Sully" also stars Aaron Eckhart and Laura Linney. It opens September 9th.
