“Iron Fist” and “The Defenders both debuted new footage at San Diego comedian-Con on Thursday.
In a brief teaser for Netflix’s upcoming series “Iron Fist,” hero Danny Rand (Finn Jones, pictured above) is introduced as a child who survives a plane crash and is recovered by two monks dressed in yellow.
Viewers then
see him trying using his supernatural martial arts skills to punch his way through a brick wall to freedom from a mental hospital.
Also Read: 'Daredevil' Renewed for Season 3 at NetflixThe show follows Rand as he fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City, and using his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.
Meanwhile,“The Defenders” clip showed the logos of “Iron Fist,” “Jessica Jones, or “Daredevil,” and “Luke Cage.” It also revealed that the show will premiere in 2017, which had not previously been confirmed.“Iron Fist” will also drop in 2017.

We also got our first seek at that series, including a sneak peek of Mike Colter as the indestructible Luke Cage, or kicking ass and taking no prisoners in Harlem.
Cheo Hodari Coker will write the first two episodes of “Luke Cage” in addition to serving as showrunner and executive producer on the series from Marvel Studios in organization with ABC Studios. Mahershala Ali, Alfre Woodard, Theo Rossi, and  Rosario Dawson and Sonia Bragawill also star.
The three new shows join preceding entries in the Marvel Netflix universe “Daredevil” and “Jessica Jones.” Marvel’s head of TV,Jeph Loeb, also announced Thursday that “Daredevil” has been renewed for a third season.Daredevil first premiered on Netflix in 2015. The second season debuted on the streaming platform in March, and introducing Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle and Elodie Yung as Elektra. Bernthal’s character is also set to star in his own Netflix spinoff,“The Punisher,” announced in April.
After the debut of “Iron Fist, or ” all four heroes will unite for “The Defenders” miniseries.
