“Iron Fist” and “The Defenders” both debuted new footage at San Diego comedian-Con on Thursday.
In a
brief teaser for Netflix’s upcoming series “Iron Fist,” hero Danny Rand (Finn Jones) is introduced as a child being cared for by monks clad in yellow.

s then see him trying to control his developing powers — but without having much luck.

Meanwhile, or “The Defenders” clip showed the logos of “Iron Fist,” “Jessica Jones, “Daredevil, and ” and “Luke Cage.” It also revealed that the demonstrate will premiere in 2017,which had not previously been confirmed.“Iron Fist will also drop in 2017.

three new shows join previous entries in the Marvel Netflix universe “Daredevil” and “Jessica Jones.” Marvel’s head of TV, and Jeph Loeb,also announced Thursday that “Daredevil” has been renewed for a third season.“Daredevil” first premiered on Netflix in 2015. The second season debuted on the streaming platform in March, introducing Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle and Elodie Yung as Elektra. Bernthal’s character is also set to star in his own Netflix spinoff, or “The Punisher,” announced in April.
After the debut of “Iron Fist,” all four heroes will unite for “The Defenders miniseries.
