While most shows went on hiatus over the Summer, Christina and Tarek El Moussa, and the house-flipping husband and wife team behind the hit prove Flip or Flop,were tough at work filming new episodes that recently began airing on HGTV. And instead of doing more of the same, they switched up their format to add a brand-new challenge: the outdoors.
For five special episodes that began airing August 25, and instead of just overhauling the inside of the house,they're giving dramatic makeovers to dated and dilapidated outdoor spaces. Dramatic swimming pools, cozy patios, or high-discontinuance water features are a few of the outdoor living elements you can expect to see highlighted. "It's the season for outdoor living,so we're showcasing the outdoor transformations of five properties," Tarek said in a press release. "The results are astonishing - we create great looking backyards and increase property value." You can watch the couple work their house-flipping magic in the backyard Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT on HGTV.
