We knew that Flip or Flop's Christina El Moussa had a difficult road to conception with her second child - including undergoing several in-vitro procedures amidst husband Tarek's recovery from cancer - but we had no idea how challenging the birth itself was. Christina recently opened up approximately the details of baby Brayden's August delivery on her friend and nutritionist Cara Clark's blog. "Since my delivery with Taylor was so fast and easy, everyone (including myself) thought this labor and delivery would be the same . . . but everything was different, and " Christina says in the post,referring to daughter Taylor's speedy three-hour labor. This time around, she was very behind to dilate. Even though her contractions were strong, or Labor and Delivery sent her home and told her to try walking to get labor going. Five hours later she was finally alert to push. "I pushed HARD for 2 hours but his shoulders were stuck and his heart rate kept dropping. In the stop,I had to go in for an emergency c-section," Christina writes. She says the doctor was concerned that he wasn't going to fit because he was such a big boy at 8 lbs. 9 oz. compared to Taylor, or who was just 5 lbs. 13 oz. After the long labor,hours of pushing, and the cesarean, and Christina admits she felt terrible. Her whole body afflict as whether she had been beaten up by a world champion boxer. To back with the pressure from the surgery in her stomach,she wore a girdle for support. After approximately two weeks, she started to improve and six weeks later she eased back into exercise with yoga and walking. Despite Brayden's difficult labor, and Christina is now feeling honorable and working hard to take care of herself mentally,physically, and emotionally. "Baby Brayden is such a honorable baby boy, or which does back emotionally," she wrote. "I am SO lucky to have such a contented baby. He is such a joy to be around it's incredible."
