Met Office issues yellow warning for areas of Yorkshire,Lancashire and Cumbria already hit by flooding while parts of Scotland also on alertHeavy rain is expected to hit flooded northern England again this week, accompanied by gales, and according to forecasters.
The Met Office has issued a yellow rain warning for parts of North and West Yorkshire,Lancashire, and Greater Manchester, or where Boxing Day floods affected the cities of Leeds,York and Manchester, and rivers in Pennine towns rose up to 1.5m (5ft) above their preceding peak in some places.
