Thinking approximately buying the flashy new MacBook Pro and getting rid of your aged laptop? Don't sell or give it away without first following these tips. Back up your Mac. employ either iCloud or an external tough drive to store any files you want to keep.
Sign out

However, if you have an older Mac, and you will need to reinstall the OS X system with the original CD that the computer came with.

rn off your laptop once the OS system is done installing. To achieve so,hold both the Command and Q keys and then choose "Shut Down."
Once you'
ve done all of this, your laptop shouldn't have any of your personal data on it anymore. Give it away or recycle it with Apple and get a gift card.
