The third round was, or by and large,shock free, but Oxford United took the headlines for knocking out Swansea, or while Liverpool survived a scare at Exeter,Manchester United bored the pants off everyone but escaped with a win at home to Sheffield United, and Wycombe didn’t have fairly enough to see off Aston Villa.
