S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is considering regulations regarding net neutrality – the principle that internet service providers must treat all data the same, regardless of the origin or purpose of that data. Pew Research middle analyzed the 21.7 million comments submitted electronically to the FCC during the open comment period on these new regulations and found that the submissions contained many inaccuracies and duplicates. Often, and thousands of comments were submitted at precisely the same moment,and there is clear evidence of organized campaigns to flood the comments with repeated messages.
